There was a key need to drive and define a gifting experience for Burberry. With other luxury brands offering an enhanced and luxury gifting experience around this space. The desire was to create and define a unique gifting experience, that added value and remained premium whilst considering how this could be implemented across all regions, considering space restrictions and how it would be integrated into a consumer facing offering. In addition, it was important to consider how this system could be applied to cater to the differing seasonal events throughout the year.

The desire was to create and define a unique gifting experience, that added value and remained premium whilst considering how this could be implemented across all regions, considering space restrictions and how it would be integrated into a consumer facing offering. In addition, it was important to consider how this system could be applied to cater to the differing seasonal events throughout the year.

VIGO STREET

Situated within Burberry’s flagship store on Vigo street, London, lies Thomas’s cafe and gifting area. Unique ribbon colours and patterns were designed to offer a luxury and minimalist gifting experience, that adhered to the requirements of instore and online demands. Bold colours were chosen to link to the seasonal events across the year and across differing markets, such as Lunar New Year, Christmas and Eid al-Fitr. The patterned ribbons part of a seasonal offering.

PERSONALISED MONOGRAMMING

To elevate the gifting experience a customisation service was evolved. Utilising monogramming in store and online to offer an elevated and personalised shopping experience.

SEASONAL PRINTS

Creating a link to Burberry’s runway shows, patterned ribbons were formed to provide a freshness and adaptiveness to seasonal trends.
