Burberry

DESCRIPTION

Burberry as part of its heritage campaign was to initiate the launch of a new male and female fragrance; My Burberry and Mr Burberry. We were tasked with creating the bottle design, the accompanying packaging and how this would then be applied across all ancillary products. My Burberry followed the narrative of the heritage campaign, drawing on iconic features of the trench coat and whose scent drew on the classic and romantic olfactory responses of a London garden after the rain.

MY BURBERRY EDP

Drawing on the features of the classic trench coat came the design of the EDP bottle. The horn cap following the same shape and material as the trench coat buttons. The inner glass cavity referencing the D ring. The knot symbolic of the trench coat when tied closed and the collar embodying the classic Burberry check pattern in a rich gold.

ANCILLARY PRODUCTS

Once the fragrance was established the fragrance’s ancillary products were rolled out. To retain a link to the EDP bottle, they borrow from it, to create a world steeped in heritage and refinement.

MR BURBERRY

As part of the Mr Burberry EDP fragrance launch, a series of collateral and samples were formed. Playing to the campaigns story of tailoring, masculinity, heritage and sophistication.
